Bonum diffusivum est sui

This blog aims to provide a translation of Fr Alain Contat's Logica in small sections.

I hope to post with some regularity. Please feel free to comment.

This looks to be both interesting and useful.

Do you suppose you could post some information about the book, i.e., who Alain Contat was, when the book was written, what language you're translating it from (Latin, I presume), and like that?

Fr Alain Contat is a Swiss diocesan priest who taught a course in Logic at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum in Rome.

He is the most profound Thomist I have ever met (and I have not met very many, though I have had many professors).

The course was taught in 1999, though I don't know when the text itself was written.

The original language is Italian.
